Last updated November 4, 2026
This policy explains what Snap Count collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers snapcount.me and snapcount.agency. Using the site also means you agree to our Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
- Account info: your email address. If you continue with Google, we get your name and email from Google.
- X profile info: when you enter an X username, we read that account's public name, bio, location and profile photo. If you verify your X account, we also confirm your X user ID and username.
- Snap Link details you add: athlete name, photo, grad year, position, height, weight, school, city and state, GPA, stats, offers, bio, contact details, and highlight videos.
- Messages and coach tools: messages between coaches and families, watchlists, notes and saved searches.
- Payments: plan and billing status. Card details go straight to our payment provider. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Usage: Snap Link views and where visits come from (for example X or a QR code), plus basic technical data like browser type.
- Agency fit checks: parent or coach name, athlete details, school, and social or Hudl links you submit.
2. How we use it
- To run your Snap Link, share previews and "ready for X" clips.
- To show public Snap Links in athlete search for coaches.
- To deliver messages and send email alerts about new messages, saved-search matches and watchlist updates.
- To verify your email, keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- To process subscriptions and agency services.
- To follow up about the Snap Count Agency if you sign up or submit a fit check. You can ask us to stop at any time.
3. What's public
A published Snap Link is public. Anyone with the link, and anyone using athlete search, can see the details and videos on it. Your email address and messages are never shown publicly. You can hide a Snap Link at any time, and it stops showing to the public.
4. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't run ads.
We share data only with service providers that help us run Snap Count, such as hosting and storage, email delivery, payment processing, and X and Google when you choose to use them. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
5. Athletes under 18
Snap Count is built for high school athletes, and many are under 18. We ask that a parent or guardian create or oversee Snap Links for minors. Snap Count isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has used Snap Count, contact us and we'll delete the account.
6. Keeping and deleting data
We keep your information while your account is active. You can edit or delete a Snap Link from your dashboard at any time. To delete your whole account and its data, email jk@snapcount.me from your account email. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and we'll honor those requests.
7. Security
Videos and photos are stored privately and served through short-lived links. Access to private data is limited to the people it belongs to. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for important changes, let you know by email. Questions? Email jk@snapcount.me.
